 Massachusetts Republican, Scott Brown has pulled off a major political upset by winning the Senate seat that Ted Kennedy held for the Democrats for over 46 years. This victory also takes away what is called a Democratic "super majority" in the Senate, which is when they majority party has 60 seats held by their members. This is the number needed to prevent filibusters by the other side, and basically force through any bill they like at lightning speed.
What this means for us is that Obamas health care bill, the new illegal alien amnesty proposal, and several other socialist/liberal programs that were due to be shoved down our throat this year, will surely be stalled and maybe even derailed. Having a conservative take a Senate seat in a state where they have not held one since 1962, has sent shock-waves all the way up to the White House. The people have spoken in Massachusetts and we need to keep speaking. This is the first victory in a war to take this country back from the socialist dictatorship we are heading for. Get out and fight. If Scott Brown can do it. We can do it anywhere.
